FAQFrequently Asked Questions: This page contains answers to common questions of students and parents.
How can I find out if my student is writing down their homework? The best way to verify students are actually copying their assignments is to ask to see their planner. In my class there is something written on the homework board almost daily. Is there a way to find out if my student is turning in work? If you can not be certain you student is turning in work, after checking home access, you may e-mail me with your concern or check home access. It is much easier for me to respond to e-mails. What do I do if my student doesn't know what his homework is? My suggestion would be to have you student call someone else in his/her class for the information. It is the student's responsibility to copy their work from the homework board each Monday- or the first day of class each week. How does my student find out what he/she has missed during an absence? I keep an assignment binder in my room. This contains both the daily homework assignment and the agenda. It is usually noted if there have been any handouts that day as well. The students are aware that it is their responsibility to find out what they have missed and complete the work within one week of their absence.
