I am both a parent and a teacher here at Grisham Middle School. I am very
happy to be here.
I grew up overseas in the military and I've lived all over the world. I have
two sisters and one brother all graduating from Westwood. I
finished high school in Austin and was the first graduating class at
Westwood High School. I started Texas A&M University when I was just 17 and
graduated in 1986 with a degree in Computer Science and a minor
mathematics. I graduated in 1995 with a masters in business from St.
Edwards University.
I have a wonderful husband, three beautiful kids and a golden retriever
named Bonnie. I worked as a computer engineer for eight years before staying
at home fulltime. In 2006, I completed my math teaching certification. I
love math and kids and I hope to bring energy and enthusiasm to my classroom.
The goal for my classes is to develop leaders and life long learners for the
21st century. I will create a positive, cooperative learning environment
where each student will be given confidence to succeed.
