This will be my 4th year teaching 8th grade Language Arts. I hold a
Bachelor’s degree in English from The University of Texas at Austin and a
Master’s degree in Literature from University of Houston Clear Lake.
I love reading, writing, photography, art, traveling, and helping students
become better users of the English language. I usually have a novel and a
blank book with me to fill any "down time" I may suddenly have.
Currently I live in Cedar Park with my ginormous dog. I am enjoying being a
part of the IB program and I'm looking forward to a great school
year and the lively antics of this year’s 8th graders.
The Mission for Language Arts is to facilitate student mastery of the
eighth grade TEKS, and encourage development of reading, writing and
presentation skills needed for success in High School and the world beyond.
