Welcome to Theatre Arts 2009-2010!
****
Thanks to everyone who donated to "Claw Out Cancer" and to those who walked
the 5K in memory and in honor of loved ones. It was an amazing day and
Grisham earned over $2800 to help Claw Out Cancer! Special thanks go out to
our team leader, Kristin Berry. Donations will continue to be accepted
through Nov. 30. Great job, everyone!
*******
This week, Monday through Thursday, rehearsals will run until 5:30 PM. On
Friday only, rehearsals will stop at 5 PM. Actors, please bring costumes and
wigs on Tuesday to rehearse costumes changes. Drop off your costumes in Room
505 before school. Thank you.
*******
The 8th grade Theatre Arts students will be going on a fieldtrip on
Wednesday, November 18 to the RRISD Performing Arts Center to see the WHS
Academy of Fine Arts Theatre students perform James and the Giant Peach. We
will then have a discussion following the show. All 8th graders should dress
for success and bring a sack lunch. This will be a wonderful opportunity to
find out more about the Academy!

We still have some fundraiser money out that was due on Oct. 19. Please turn
your checks in quickly. Make checks or money orders to: GMS Drama 9220
219104. Please don't send cash. Thank you for your help.
