About The Teacher
Hello, thanks for visiting my website. My name is Elaheh Shafiee. I moved from Ottawa, Canada in July 2000 to Austin, Texas following my husband accepting a new job. I hold a bachelor degree in Pure-Mathematics, and I earned my teaching certificate in 2003. I have taught Mathematics for the past six years at AISD and RRISD. During my college time, I tutored Math to college students, and it was then when I found myself like teaching. I do my best helping my students to enjoy learning Math, and to be able to connect the subject with real life experience.
