 What is the FOCUS Program?
Focus is a new program this year where SPED. teacher(s) are constantly 
circulating throughout the school checking with students/teachers to ensure 
that all are successful.

 How does a student come to receive FOCUS support?
The placement in the Focus program is usually instigated by a genuine need 
to give a student more support, particularly in the area of behavior 
management.

A student is having issues...with peers, with self, with 
staff...team/administrators/counselors see that unique blend of Focus 
support can be helpful.

 What do we do?
Each period we travel the school and observe students...paying particular 
attention to behaviors outlinned in their management plans.  We counsel, 
cousole and coach kids when the need arrives.
