Will homework be assigned every night?
No. Science will be assigned 1-2 times per week and usually not
on Fridays.
Students are encouraged to turn in their work in a timely
manner. I do
realize that some of your children have very busy extracurricular
activities.
Students will have some flexibility the first 2 weeks of school.
After that, they will be expected to complete missing work during
my tutorial times. Zero is not option.
Extra credit?
No. Students have transitioned to middle school. He/she is
responsible for his/her completion of homework and laboratory
assignments and studying for quizzes and exams.
Science Fair?
Participation in the science fair is optional this year. We will
be forming
a science fair club to assist students with their projects.
Does my child need to carry all those heavy texts?
No. I have a classroom set for use on campus. See link for
online textbook. Students may also check out a Science Explorer
text that they may leave at home.
