Summer Orchestra is August 4 - 8. Please try to attend!!

WHERE: Grisham Middle School Orchestra Room
TIME:
Beginning Violin and Viola 2:00 – 2:50pm
Beginning Cello 3:00 – 3:50pm
Beginning Bass 4:00 – 4:50pm
All beginning orchestra students are encouraged to attend as many days of the summer classes as possible. If you cannot attend the entire session because of vacation plans, you may attend any part of the session or wait until the regular school year begins. Summer Orchestra provides plenty of time for individual help with no scholastic pressures so please make plans to attend. If you have any questions, please call 464-2656.

Summer Orchestra for Intermediate and Advanced Orchestra Students
August 4 - 8
All classes meet in the Canyon Vista Orchestra Hall
August 4, 5, 6 and 7
Intermediate Orchestra Students 8:30-10:00am
Advanced Orchestra Students 10:00-11:30am
After the rehearsal on the 7th, we will go to Austin Parks and Pizza. Cost is $18.00 per student. Detailed itinerary will be handed out on August 4th.
August 8
8:30am Students arrive at Canyon Vista Bus Canopy
8:45am Bus departs Canyon Vista for RRISD PAC
9:30 – 11:30am Rehearsal at PAC
11:30-12:30 Lunch at the PAC - Pizza
12:30 - 2:00 Final Rehearsal at PAC
August 8: Concert at RRISD PAC at 7:00pm
6:30pm Tuning and Warm-up
7:00pm Concert
Concert Attire:
Boys: nice slacks and dress shirt
Girls: nice dress or slacks and nice blouse
Please no jeans and/or athletic shoes!! Look your best!
