Beginning my 31st year as an educator, I have been a teacher, coach and
administrator at ten different districts across the state of Texas. This is
the second time I have worked in Round Rock ISD.
I attended Texas Tech University and earned my Bachelors and Masters Degrees
and earned a doctorate in Educational Administration from Texas A&M
University. I completed my mid-management certification at Southwest Texas
State University, now known as Texas State University.
I am married to the former Dottye Ann Holt and have three wonderful children
ages 16, 12 and 10. I love to teach and coach, read non-fiction, play golf,
sail and scuba dive. I also have great affection for dogs and horses.
Class Mission
My mission for our class is to explore together the countries and cultures
of the world in which we live, and to ensure that learning is fun and
engaging. I also hope to convey to my students that as human beings we are
much more alike than we are different. Finally, I wish to instill in my
students an appreciation of history and the desire to become life long
learners.
