This is my sixth year to teach Language Arts at Grisham and I love every
minute of it!.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2002 with a B.S.
in Applied Learning & Development. My minor was in English. Before attending
UT, I was a student at Kilgore Junior College where I was a member of the
Kilgore College Rangerettes.
I grew up in Plano, Texas; Long Island, New York; and Austin, Texas. Because
my family moved several times, I actually attended four different elementary
schools. In RRISD, I attended Laurel Mountain Elementary, Canyon Vista
Middle School and Westwood High School.
I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, my husband (Clint), and kitty
cat (Henry). Clint is also an educator; he teaches 2nd grade at Fern Bluff
Elementary. I love computers, crossword puzzles, card games (not poker),
reading, writing, knitting and practicing yoga.
