--------------------------------------
Do you accept late work?
Late work is accepted with the following conditions; one day late is a 30%
penalty, two or more days late is a 50% penalty.
--------------------------------------
Can I just take a zero on an assignment?
NO! If you fail to turn in an assignment you will be
reminded that you are missing work. If work is still missing detentions and
possible referrals will follow.
--------------------------------------
Can I retest if I do poorly?
If you get below a 70% on any test or quiz you may retake it for up to a
70%. You must retake the test BEFORE the next test is given or your
original score stands. If you fail to better your score I will let your
original score stand.
--------------------------------------
Can I retest more than once on the same test?
Yes!!!! Keep in mind the time requirement; before the next test. The
highest you can raise your grade to is a 70%.
--------------------------------------
If I take a retest, will I get the same test again?
Yes, and no. The same basic material will be covered, but it may not look
exactly the same. Questions may be altered, choices may be altered, or both.

Yes! We will keeping a class notebook that will serve as both a portfolio
and review tool at test times. The notebooks will be graded, or a quiz
given, periodically for completeness and quality of work. Even if I already
have a grade for an assignment, if it is missing from the notebook at
grading time you will lose points.
--------------------------------------
How do you grade?
Raw points. Each daily/homework assignment is worth 100 points. Tests are
usually worth 300 points. Projects 200-300 points. This means that on
average tests are worth about 20% of the grade for the entire six weeks.
This percenatge varies depending on the # of assignments and tests that
fall within any single grading period.
