 How do I know what my student is doing in class?
Check your child's planner for day to day assignments in all classes.  Also, 
the website will list the plans and homework assignments.

 Why does my child have detention?
If a student is disrespectful to another person, continually forgets his/her 
binder, homework or supplies, continually taps or makes other distracting 
noises, continually talks in class instead of doing classwork or listening 
to instruction, then a detention will be given.  A referral to the assistant 
principal will be given if after the detention, the behavior(s) continue.
