I am Rosemary Parker, and I am thrilled to be one of your teachers this year.
I am so excited about being in a team room and working with Mrs. Pipak in one
great big room. We can plan and do so much more this way. This is my 23rd
year to teach here in Hallsville. I graduated from Hallsville, and I am
thrilled to be back here teaching. This is my opportunity to give back to
this community what I was given. I have 1 sister, and 3 awesome nieces who
are the joy of my life. My 3 year old great-niece, Olivia, is the icing on
the cake, too! I have a great nephew on the way. He'll be born in December. I
have 13 cats –all rescued from untimely deaths. Zoey, a very
special kitty, has extra toes on both of her front feet, and she came to me
in a backpack by a student 7 years ago!! I joke with people that I have cats
from A to Z because I have a cutie named Abbie and a sweetie named Zoey---and
many in between. I truly believe that I am called to teach, and my goal is to
meet every child at the point of their own need – physically, emotionally,
socially, and academically.
Together, Mrs. Pipak and I will work hard to create life-long learners and
give our students a blueprint for success.
