LADY HORNET BASKETBALL

Dear Parents,
This week, December 9th and 12th, the Lady Hornets will play in a double elimination tournament at Deerpark Middle School. A copy of the tournament schedule is on the back of this letter.
Our first game is Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. against Walsh M.S. We will take the bus to Deerpark and leave Hopewell at 5:45 p.m. We should return to Hopewell no later than 8:00 pm.
Game time on Saturday will be determined by Wednesday’s results. The earliest we would play is 9:00 a.m. and the latest would be 12:45 p.m. Games can start early so please have your daughter at Deerpark at least 45 minutes before the scheduled game time.
If we win our first game on Saturday I don’t mind you taking your daughter to get something to eat away from the gym. However, if we lose our first game there will not be time to go eat. Please send healthy snacks and money for the concession stand.
It’s hard to say when we will finish for the day, games can start early or late. Planning for the best the Championship game is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. and we would be done by 5:45 p.m. The earliest would be 10:30 a.m. Please make arrangements for your daughter to be picked up at Deerpark if you are unable to do so.
