About The Teacher
I have been teaching at Hopewell Middle School for 8 years, and I'm very proud of this school. With all our variations and sometimes challenging issues, I find it a perfect place to grow both professionally and personally. I have enjoyed my time learning about the kids and about what they might need from the adults in their lives. It is a worthy endeavor to affect the lives around you, and I intend to accomplish that through literature, grammar, and reading, but also (and perhaps more importantly) by sharing my own experiences as a human being. I hope to foster an environment of trust and ease, and I hope your child will grow not only academically, but personally throughout the school year. I am very excited to be teaching at Hopewell Middle School. It gives me great pleasure to be among such a fine group of students and teachers. To help students reach beyond their capacity and to achieve more than they thought possible. To teach students to think beyond the literal and to gain insight into the various ways other people think and express their thoughts. Most of all, I hope we can have fun.
