About Ms. Folarin…
This is my first year in Round Rock and I am delighted to be a part of your child's education. I hope that this experience will be mutually rewarding to both your child and myself, and that they will reach all of their personal and educational goals with my assistance.
I received my BA in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and discovered early in life that I had a passion for Science, when my 8th grade science teacher told me to stop raising my hand and to give all the other kids a chance to answer. I have taught 8th grade Science, as well as 6th and 8th grade math and Special Education for two years in Pflugerville ISD.
Hands-on learning is a major part of my teaching strategies, as well as varying the way that material is presented, to capture aspects of all learning styles.
I have a two year old daughter named Aryssa, who already shares my love for science on our routine trips to the Austin Children’s Museum.
