Field Trip to the Christmas Tree Farm -- We will leave the school around 
10:00 and return around 2:45.  You are more than welcome to ride the bus with 
us.  The children will eat a hot dog lunch at the Christmas Tree Farm.

SIGHT WORDS: 3rd Six Weeks
  1st week:  get, my, big, went, are, come

3rd week:  red, blue, green, pink, orange, yellow, brown, black, white,
             purple

Unit 7 Fluency Story - King Sam - test on Friday, Nov. 20th

First Grade sounds we will work on the week of Nov. 16th  -- using y at the 
end of words (either making the long i or long e sound)
