About The Teacher

I have been teaching 2nd grade at Dabbs Elementary for 6 years and I 
absolutely love to work with kids!  I graduated from Sam Houston State 
University in 2002 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in 
English.  I live in Deer Park and have a wonderful family consisting of my 
husband, my 11-year old step-son and our two cats, Mia and Lola.  I enjoy 
working in my yard and spending time with my family doing things like 
shopping and playing games.

Mission For The Class

I strive to develop a lasting and meaningful relationship with each of my 
students.  I hope to make a difference in their lives, so that they can each 
develop into contributing citizens and reliable young people.

Throughout the year we learn and explore many different things in all 
subjects, however I work hard to ensure that each student receives 
instruction specially tailored to their needs.  In doing so, the students 
can reach their highest academic potential at their own developmental level.
