When does homework come home?
Homework is now accessible through this website under the Weekly Homework
Icon. If you have a problem printing this from home, please let your
teacher know, and they will send a hard copy home with your child. During
the initial stages of working out "the bugs" of our online homework program,
if any part of the homework does not print well, do what you can see and
send it in as is. This is a work in progress.
What can I bring for my child's birthday?
Due to a state mandated regulation, birthday cookies/cupcakes can no longer
be given out during lunch. They can be handed out by the student during the
last ten minutes of the day.
What can I send as a snack?
We ask that you send healthy snacks only, and to be aware of peanut
allergies on grade level. We can not microwave snacks.
Can I send a water bottle for my child to have during the day?
Some classes are located directly across the water fountain; therefore,
don't need water bottles. Other classes may be allowed to bring water
bottles to be used at appropriate times. Please check with your child's
teacher.
What do I do if I need to change the way my child will be going home?
Please call the office as soon as possible and let them know. They will get
a message to your child. Please do not just leave a message on your
teacher's voice mail, as it may not be checked until the end of the day
after your child has left. Also, please don't email your teacher a change
in how your child will be going home without letting the office know. If
your teacher is absent, he or she will not check email and will not get the
message. Just please be sure to always call the office with any
transportation changes. Thank you!!
