About The Teacher

Dear Parents,

I am so excited to be able to have the privilege of working with you and your 
child in first grade this year.  This is a very special year filled with 
discoveries and developments for us all.  Be assured that I will do my best 
to make this school year an enjoyable learning experience for your child.

I am originally from Harrisonburg, Louisiana.  I received my degree from 
Louisiana Tech in Ruston, Louisiana where I also met my wonderful husband, 
Keith.  I have been a Texas resident for the last 13 years, living in Round 
Rock for the last 10 years.

This will be my second year at Jollyville Elementary, but I have a lot of 
experience working with children of all ages.   My teaching background 
includes five years of experience in secondary education in the public school 
system and four years teaching kindergarten at the Fellowship Christian 
Academy in Round Rock.   I also serve at my church in the elementary 
children’s ministry.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family.  My husband, Keith, is 
the pastor of North Hills Community Church in NW Austin.   We have two sons.  
Ethan (10) will be in 5th grade at Cactus Ranch Elementary in Round Rock and 
Austin (7) will be in second grade also at Cactus Ranch. We enjoy going to 
church, going to parks, playing games, reading books, and having fun as a 
family.

I look forward to getting to know you and your family as the school year 
begins.  My goal is for you and I to become partners in your child’s 
education.  I hope that we are able to work collaboratively to give your 
child the best education possible!  You are welcome to contact me with any
