Since it is my goal to get to know every child, I have created a group that I call Lunch Bunch. Lunch Bunch is an opportunity for all new students to eat lunch in the counselor's office. The group will consist of the counselor and 5 other children. This is not an ongoing group. Each child will come only once. It is an informal meeting where we will introduce ourselves, play games, and chat. My hope is that this will allow children to feel comfortable in the counselor's office in case a situation ever occurs where they will need to come to me with a problem. Lunch Bunch will begin the second week of school.
