I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I moved to Austin in 1985 when my
husband, Gene, got a job at the Texas Education Agency. I have one sister
who lives in Kingwood, Texas, three nieces, all married, living in the Houston
area, four great-nieces, Evelyn, Olivia, Lainey Bell and Naomi and two
great-nephews, Josiah and Winston.
My mom lives in Kingwood, too. I spend a lot of time going back and forth on
Hwy. 290 to visit all of them!
I have been at Jollyville Elementary since it opened in 1992 teaching third
grade. I love third graders and the excitement they bring to class each day!
I love to read and my students leave me loving it, too.
