About The Teacher
I am in my 16th year of teaching art here in Round Rock ISD. I enjoy the enthusiasm of kids at the elementary level, and I love the creative aspect of art. I am married, and I have two children who also attended Jollyville. I am a graduate of Leander High School, and I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Abilene Christian University. I also received my teaching certificate from the University of Texas at Austin. Before teaching, I was involved in the graphic design field. I worked at the Round Rock Leader for over seven years. If you look at some of the older issues of the Leader you might find some illustrations and graphics by me. These days I tend to slowly dabble in watercolor, colored pencil, and of course, graphic design. I love playing sports. I played baseball and softball for over 25 years. I've also coached my son's baseball teams and my daughter's softball teams. Lately I've gotten back into raquetball and volleyball.
