I am so excited to get to know you and your child and I am looking forward
to having a positive year!!!!!!!!
Here are a few things you might need to know:
- Car riders will now be by the cafeteria in the back
- Bus riders and daycare buses are in the front of the school
- Walkers, or people getting out of their car and walking to
their child, should pick them up in the front of the school
by the second grade doors
- The hug zones are by the office and in the cafeteria. This is
where you say good-bye to your child. If you want to walk
your child to the classroom you will need to sign in at
the front office.
- There is now a parent resource center in our school. Yeah!!
- All of second grade will have the same schedule
Daily folders will be sent home every day. Please check and sign their
behavior calendar, look for homework, and sign their reading log daily. On
Thursday, another folder is sent home. Please remember to check your child's
Thursday folder to see what they have done during the week, as well as help
them with concepts they have struggled with. There is also information for
you to read and sometimes sign. Please send the red folder back on Friday,
empty. Thanks!!!!
