About The Teacher
I am a native El Pasoan who graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso in December of 2000, with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Minor in Early Childhood Education. My husband and I, our two children and our cat moved to the great city of Austin around six years ago and absolutely love it. We really enjoy all of the trees and the fun things there are to do here. You wouldn't believe how exciting it was for us when we first moved in and saw the squirrels and beautiful birds playing in our yard!! I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher because I really love helping children succeed and seeing their faces light up when they learn something new. The great part is that I learn so much from them. My hope is that I instill a love for learning that will remain with them for the rest of their lives. I am really looking forward to a fantastic year!!!
