Classroom Management

 

Fourth Grade Scholars in Ms. DeCoux's Class have discussed that the reason why we are here is to continue and enhance the process of learning.  We have also decided on a system for working together as a team in our classroom.  Students collaboratively have established the following rule for making our classroom system work:

  

You can do anything in this class you want as long as it contributes to the learning environment.

  

In the student Agenda, you will see at the bottom of each day a number based on the rubric below.  Please take time out each day to talk to your child about his/her behavior.  Feel free to contact me at any time regarding this behavior. 

 

Our goal is to contribute to the learning process every day.

 We know we can do it.

Behavior Rubric

4 – Contributed & supported the learning process.

3 - Stopped the learning process only once 

2 - Stopped the learning process twice.

1 - Stopped the learning process three times.  

0 - Stopped the learning process too many times.
