About The Teacher
Welcome to the 4th Grade! I am so excited to be part of the Jaguar family! A little bit about myself: I grew up in Round Rock and graduated from Round Rock High School. I attended Texas State University where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (fancy name for Elementary Education!) I always knew that I wanted to begin my teaching career in Round Rock! This will be my 2nd year to teach 4th grade at Jollyville Elementary. Both of my sisters are teachers! One teaches kindergarten in Forth Worth and the other will begin teaching with RRISD this school year. I also have a younger brother who will be starting his freshmen year at UT in the Fall. Hook 'em Horns! My parents continue to live in Round Rock-my dad is a life insurance salesman and my mom is a customer support and applications specialist. Some things that I enjoy are spending time with family and friends, listening to music, watching movies, attending sporting events, and shopping :) I hope that tells you a little bit more of who I am. I am excited about this year and working with each and every one of your children. Please do not hesitate to call or email me with any questions or concerns. Ms. Kohn's fourth grade class will work hard to reach their goal of becoming life-long learners. We will accomplish this by staying focused, attentively listening, showing mutual respect and ALWAYS giving our personal BEST. We will strive to be excellent role models for everyone in our learning community.
