I send homework each Thursday in the Take Home folder. Please have your
child return it to school on Monday.
Each Friday your child will bring home his/her reading binder. Please have
your child read the poems and books to/with you and return the binder to
school on Monday.
Please read to/with your child each night and ask him/her questions about
what has been read. Also if your child is still learning letters/sounds
please practice the ABC chart each night.
I also encourage you to have a daily journal at home so your child can
practice writing at home. Have him/her draw a picture and write (using
inventive spelling) something that they did at school each day, or any other
stories that he/she may like to write.
