Welcome to your Texas History and Geography web page!
I am excited about the new school year and am looking forward to
getting to know each of you.
We will be learning about the geography, culture, economy, government, and
history of your state this year.
It will be fun and interesting to study the story of Texas & you will soon
understand why Texas is the unique place that it is.
Please use this site to keep up to date on classroom happenings. You will be
able to find out about daily activities and important dates to remember. I
have included links to sites that I hope you will enjoy and find to be
informative.
Be sure to bring a good attitude when you come to class!
SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR YOUR HISTORY CLASS
1" notebook (it would be helpful to have at least one pocket divider)
one subject spiral - 70 page (please get wide ruled paper)
notebook paper (wide ruled)
pens (black or blue & red)
pencils
map colors
Please have your supplies as soon as possible. I hope that all students
will have the needed supplies the first week, in order to keep from getting
too far behind.
I have afternoon duty on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Remember this and plan
accordingly. I will be at the bus stop after school.
I will be in my room by 7:45 for tutorials.
Remember that the bell to go to 1st period rings at 8:00, so be on time!
Fifteen minutes goes by quickly.
