This website is full of information about Theatre Arts at KLMS.  Here, you will find important announcements, class assignment information, production and performance details, and other info about field trips, Thespians, and volunteering with our program.

 

There are three different ways to be involved in Theatre Arts at Kelly Lane Middle School.  First, we have Theatre Arts classes for students to enroll in as electives during the school day.  6th Grade Theatre Arts is a semester and 7/8th Grade Theatre Arts is a year-long course.  Secondly, the UIL Drama Team gives students the opportunity to participate in competitive Theatre tournaments.  Lastly, Extracurricular (after-school) Theatre is for students who want to participate in the three productions our department produces each year: a musical, a children's theatre piece, and our One-Act Play (OAP).
