1.  The most important is the sketch pad.  9 1/2 X 11, 9 X 12 are 
great sizes.  The size varies slightly from one company to the next.  
Make sure the pages are not too thin.  No thin "tracing paper" please.
2. Various drawing pencils (4B,2B,B,HB,2H, 4H) are good.  You don't 
need 
to get worried if cannot find each and everyone.)
3. Watercolors-you can get the basic Prang set or if you think you 
want to do watercolors after the class, you can get tube paint. The 
tubes are more expensive, but worth every penny. 
4.  1 basic set of Prismacolor pencils-this is expensive.  If too 
much, other brands work OK, just not as good.
5.  3 White artists erasers.  DO NOT bring in pink erasers.  They 
leave markings on paper frequently.
6.  pencil box to put supplies into.
7.  2 rolls of paper towels or a box of kleenex
8.  2 fine point permanent sharpie markers
