Hi!
My name is Mrs. Michele Stallard and I am the ART teacher at LJI.
Let me share a few things about myself. I grew up in Franklin, Wisconsin, a
small community outside of Milwaukee. I received my B.S.E. in
Special Education and a B.A.in the Arts from the University of Wisconsin-
Whitewater. I received my Regular Education Certification eight years ago
and my art certification four years ago.
I am looking forward to being your teacher.
I moved to Texas in 1986 to work for Brazosport Independent School District.
I taught Special Education for a total of eleven years, Regular Education
Math for four years and helped in Computer Technology and this will be my
fourth year teaching art.
I was very lucky to be named Teacher of the Year for Lanier Middle School
and then for the entire district for Secondary Education in the 2001-2002
school year! I feel blessed to be a part of your child’s education this year!
I met my husband, Doug in 1986, and now we have two wonderful children.
They are both in high school and I am very proud of them!
