Dear Purple Sage Families,
Gallery Night, our annual visual art event, is fast approaching! Please join
us on campus the eventing of Tuesday, May 20th for a fun stroll through the
school "gallery" to see each student's best work of the year. More details
will be sent home in the Wednesday folder.
The fourth/fifth grade art club project "Airplane Cloudscapes" is on
display! This is a temporary installation in the library to compliment the
library's weather theme this year.
Our current themes are:
KG: Balance (symmetry and radial)
1: Families and Groups, Chilean arpilleras
2: Art of ancient Egypt
3: Proportion and form, paper mache masks
4: Form and balance, coil pots
5: Unity and community, nature scratchboards
