I am excited to see everyone, students and parents alike, and ready to begin
our journey into the art world with you. We'll explore, through the 5
senses, our perceptions of our environment in art classes and create
artworks that express thoughts, ideas, and imaginations.
We'll look at artworks and artists from around the world and the different
art jobs. Students will learn together by sharing ideas about their artwork
and how they used the elements and principles of artin their work. We also
have parent volunteers who come into the classroom and present the works of
different
artists.
Art classes will be two times every other week for 50 minutes and on Fridays
for 20 minutes.
Art club is after school on Mondays for third, fourth and fifth grades that
register on the after school activity registration day. Space is limited so
please apply early when the time comes.
