I'm very grateful to have the opportunity to be working with your children
this year! I'm looking forward to getting to know new students and excited to
see everyone again.
I have been teaching art at Laurel Mountain Elementary school for twelve
years. Every year I learn more and realize how fortunate I am to be here. I
have a B.A. in Art and a K-12 teaching certificate from the University of
Montana.
I am amazed and energized by student creativity and their ability to express
themselves using design principles and concepts. My goal is to be a
facilitator for children to find their hidden gems through self discovery and
to help them develop their skills and knowledge of visual art. Your ideas,
suggestions and talents to help me in this process are important and welcomed!
The mission of our art class is to respect each other, encourage each
other, and learn from each other as we improve our skills and knowledge of
art.
