Dear Parents,
Welcome to Laurel Mountain! I am looking forward to working with your child
this year and getting to know each of you. I value your support and
consider us partners in helping your child have a successful year in
kindergarten.
I started my teaching career in Miami, Florida where I taught 4th grade for
3 years. I moved to Austin in 1984 and taught pre-K for a year and then
first grade for a few years. This will be my 24th year teaching
Kindergarten at Laurel Mountain, and it's my favorite! Every year I am
amazed at how fast kindergartners grow and learn, and it’s so rewarding to
be a part of their journey!
Miranda’s Moonbeams will think and work really hard to learn new things and
become better people. We will be nice to each other and have fun together.
We will help each other and always appreciate our friends.
