Hello Everyone! My name is Katie Holding, and I am so excited to be a Live
Oak Indian this year. I am starting my 11th year as an assistant principal
(10 in the district) and my 15th year in education. I taught 7th grade math
for a little over four years and was an assistant principal in Austin before
I came to Round Rock. Since being in RRISD, I have been the assistant
principal at Forest Creek and Sommer before coming to Live Oak.
For a little bit about my life outside of school...my wonderful husband,
Greg, and I are celebrating our 10 year anniversary this March! I am lucky to
have a stepdaughter, Ryleigh, who has just finished elementary school and
will be a 6th grader in the Fort Worth area. We have one dog (Miss Abigail
or "Abby") and two cats, Simba and Bailey. Although these are my kids at
home, the children I serve at Live Oak will quickly become a part of my heart.
