| We are working currently on budgeting. Many of the Seniors will want to
leave home and be on their own immediately after graduation. In class, we
are working on very realistic budgets so that they have a more accurate
picture of what life will be like for them once they 'leave the nest'.
Students who have not obtained employment must continue searching for a job.
In order to help them, I have been calling on businesses to try and find good
places for them to go to work. It is a privilege to be allowed to leave
school early to go to work.
If your student does have a job, it is mandatory that they provide me with
weekly summaries of the hours that are worked. This can be done either by
providing a copy of the check-stub, or by a copy of the work schedule that
has been signed or initialed by the job supervisor.
If your student has lost his/her job, please have them let me know so that we
can work together and try to find them another placement.
Thank you again for 'loaning' these wonderful young adults to me this year!
