| CHEERLEADING/MASCOT/MANAGER PICTURES:
Pictures will be handed out on the first day of August Practice. If you
still have any ads or money to turn in please bring it to practice so we can
get your personal accounts to a zero balance.
The Coaches would like to thank each member and parents of the Lockhart High
School Cheerleading Program for working together to ensure your child's
success at camp. Each squad did AWESOME and we couldn't be more proud of
their accomplishments! GO LIONS!
UCA Camp Awards:
THE BANANA AWARD:
The Highest spirit award that the UCA Camp can give out on a daily basis is
called the banana. Lockhart came to camp LOUD and PROUD and received this
prestigious award on the first night of camp, making it the FIRST time that
Lockhart High School has received it - WAY TO GO GIRLS!
ALL STARS:
Amanda Wright
Ciara Castillo
Freshman All Star, Ciara Castillo, has received the honor to attend the
Houston 2008 Thanksgiving Day Parade from Tuesday, November 25th through
Friday, November 28th.
Varsity All Star, Amanda Wright, has received the honor to attend the London
2009 Varsity Spirit Parade on New Years Day from Friday, December 26th
through Friday, January 2nd.

Mascot Leadership Trophy:
Kirby Mattos
Jump-Off Competition:
Kara Schafer and Sarah Ancira were selected to compete in the UCA Jump off
Competition.
Kara Schafer made it through the first round off eliminations and showed
true LION Pride.
Mascot Jump-Off Competition:
Both Mascots, Kirby Mattos and Audrey Parra, competed in the jump-off
competition.
Kirby Mattos received the 2008 UCA Mascot Jump-Off 1st Place rating.
Bring Home Pom Evaluation:
All three squads received a SUPERIOR Rating for their bring home routines!
