*HOSA State Leadership Conference April 10-12, 2008 was a great 
experience.
*Area One Spring Leadership Conference was held Feb. 29 and March 
1 in Marble Falls Texas. 4 HOSA members competed. Amanda Holsonback 
(Freshman) and Sabrina O'Neal (High School) placed first in their 
events and qualified for State. They were also recognized at the 
LISD School Board Meeting. 
*Thanks to Gary Blome from McCurdy Funeral Home for giving a tour 
for HSTE I students. 
*Thanks to Warm Springs Specialty Hospital (Jason Carter) for 
leading the tours for Level I. 
*HOSA Freshman Candy Sale a huge success! 
*HOSA HS Candy Sale Cancelled.
*Thanks to Dell Children's Medical Center (Katie Stedman) for 
leading our Level I and II tour.

*High School HOSA Bake Sale was Tuesday and Thursday Nov. 13 and 15, 
2007.
*In honor of National HOSA Week, Nov. 4-10th, 2007, a HOSA Health 
Fairwas held on Saturday Nov. 10th from 9am to 3pm. Thank you to 
Samantha Raymor, Krista Law, Lydia Martinez, and Sabrina O'Neal for 
coordinating the event! 
*Student/Parent meeting for Level II was held Thursday August 30, 
2007 at 6:30pm in the High School Conference Center. If you have a 
student in Level II and need further information, please call or
