Hello, everyone! I am excited to be at Lockhart High School this year. I
student taught here in the very same room I will be teaching sophomore and
junior English - room 206. I feel at home here, and I hope the students will
too. In case you were wondering, last year I taught at San Marcos High
School and this will be my second year teaching.
I was born and raised in the Panhandle of Texas, north of Amarillo, and I do
not miss the wind there a bit! I completed my Master's in Education over the
summer at Texas State University in San Marcos and was married in November
to James Dionizio, which took my last name from an easy Day to a more
challenging d-word.
I am committed to doing everything I can for my students to be successful
