About The Teacher Label:
About The Teacher
I have been teaching business, computer classes for the past 15 years. This is my fifth year at Manor High School. I have been married for six years. My husband's name is Joe. I have 2 step- children, Jordan (12, girl) and Jack (9) and Madison Elizabeth is my beautiful baby girl added on July 25, 2007. I am a product of the Bastrop ISD and the CTE Work-Based Learning program there. So I know what it takes to manage the adult work world, classes, and prepare for college. I have a strong, strong passion for the benefits of Work-Based Learning, so I will push all my students to be the best person and employee they can be under my supervision. I do not use my website to post daily assignments and activities. Instead, I use one of the Web 2.0 tools, BLOGS. This is the quickest and easiest way to keep my students up to date on what I expect for them to do for my class. In addition, each of my students will have a blog which they will post their own information about their working experiences and class work they are to complete. Therefore, if you have come to this page and want to see exactly what we are doing in class each day, please go to one of the following blogs listed below. My blog URL's are: DCP: http://www.manordcp.blogspot.com BCIS: http://www.bciswithcrownover.blogspot.com BCISII: http://www.manorbcisii.blogspot.com
