Mr. Renfro Study Skills/Inclusion English

Study Skills is a class designed to help with organizational and study skills.  The class will help students keep organized for core classes as well as helping with studying for tests: making Flashcards, utilizing memorization techniques, etc.  This class will focus on each of the student's IEP's and encourage each student to become a self advocate for their needs within the classroom environment. 

The grades are based on a layered curriculum.  The students will earn points for doing things for their other classes.  They can earn points for attending tutorials and making flashcards for their other classes! Binder checks, grade rubrics, utilizing various tools, books, computers, etc. will all help the students earn their grades in the Study Skills setting.
