I am a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and I lived in Pennsylvania
for many years and I worked for a large corporation before I moved to Texas.
After I moved to Texas I became interested in teaching students with special
needs. I substituted in many schools and taught in a private school. I attend
the Univrsity of Texas to obtain my teacher certification and graduated from
the Region XIII teaching program.
I have been teaching for 18 years. I taught for the Belton School District
for 4 years I taught at a Hospital School and in the Junior High School.
I came to McNeil 14 years ago. I was in charge of the Achieve Program,
became Department Chair and I am currently teaching the classes listed above.
I believe that all children can learn and succeed and it is my job to help
empower them.
