My family and I moved to Spring in July, 2001, and live right here in the
neighborhood, in Wimbledon Estates. My husband and I are originally from the
West Texas area, but we lived in New York for eight years. We have four
children, three boys and one girl. Luke, our youngest,is a Senior at
Klein High School this year.
I love teaching Kindergarten, and am thrilled to be at Mittelstadt. I am so
excited about a new school year, and am looking forward to getting to know my
kindergartners and their parents!
I want to begin the children's education on a positive note--I want them
each to LOVE SCHOOL--to have fun, and learn in the process! We will grow in
the areas of phonics, reading readiness, writing, language skills, problem
solving, logical reasoning, predicting, social awareness, and fine and gross
motor skills. Our activities will be planned in a large group, small groups,
and for individual students. Some activities will be planned around various
themes throughout the year.
Secondly, we will practice being good citizens! We will learn to work
together, be respectful of each other, and make our classroom a great
environment for everyone!
