I am currently a first grade teacher at NYOS Elementary. This is my second year teaching.
I graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX this May 2008. I did my student
teaching my last semester here at NYOS and absolutely fell in love with the
school. I agree strongly with NYOS's determination to help students succeed
and grow by individualizing their instruction and encouraging
them in a loving, caring environment.
Right now I live in Austin, but I am originally from Ponca City, OK. Teaching
has always been my dream and I am delighted to start my teaching career at
such an amazing school. In addition to working with children, I love reading,
writing, listening to music, scrapbooking and learning new things. I look
forward to getting to know your children and learning just as much (or even
more) from them as they will from me!
