Reading nightly: Students will be expected to read each night for 20 minutes.
Parents are asked to sign a reading log each night that will be checked.
Students will also complete a separate assignment each night, Monday through
Thursday.They should be able to complete the work on their own. Feel free to
offer encouragement and interest, however let your child make their own
mistakes. Seeing their best is much more helpful to instruction than seeing yours!
Please provide a quiet place for your child to complete their homework each
night, preferably away from a television or other distractions.
They will have a homework folder that comes home with them that includes the
reading log.
