I grew up in New Braunfels, Texas and graduated from Texas State University
in 2005. From there, I worked as the Assistant Director of Huntington Learning Center. In 2006, I
started teaching K-1 at NYOS, which makes this my fourth year. This will be
my first year to teach only kindergarten and I am very excited! I love the
individualization that NYOS offers to students, and I strongly believe in the
philosophies of the school. I am committed to making sure that students
learn in a way that is right for them. My style is to teach children to
understand the value of learning in a fun, positive environment. I truly
believe that anything is possible, and I encourge students to dream big!!!
Currently, I live in Central with my cat, Mickey. I enjoy
traveling, listening to music, making jewerly (or any kind of art), reading,
writing, and spending time with my family and friends. Teaching is my
passion, and I love what I do!!
To work together as a respectful community that allows learning to occur on
individual levels.
