Dear NWHCS Parents,
Our field trip to the IMAX (Rivercenter Mall) and the Alamo is Wednesday, May 23rd. Let’s meet in the classroom at 7:30am if you plan to attend. We’ll need to leave by 7:45am. I’ll answer any questions and go over the "game plan” for the day. Dress code for the field trip is spirit clothes. Students will need to bring spending money for lunch (McDonald’s), and IMAX concessions/Alamo gift shop if desired.
- Our final 9 week exams for Math and Language are on Tuesday. The final spelling test is Thursday, and the final Bible test takes place on Friday. Report cards will be sent home with the students on the last day of school, May 31st.
- School fundraiser: Taco Cabana (1604/Culebra) Tuesday evening (dine in only).
- The final week of school schedule (May 28-31): Monday: Memorial Day Holiday. Tuesday: Class awards presentation (in the chapel from 11:00-noon). Wednesday: End of the school year party...outdoor fun (bring swimwear, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, comfy shoes, and a towel)! Thursday: Early release 11:45am. Countdown in the gym at 11:30am.

•BIBLE: Bible stories: Life of Paul the Apostle. TEST Friday.
•MATH: Final exam Tuesday, May 22nd.
•LANGUAGE ARTS: Final exam Tuesday, May 22nd.
•SPELLING: TEST Thursday (List # 34)
•READING: Adventures in Other Lands;Trails to Explore(daily).
•HISTORY: U.S. Presidents test Thursday, May 24th.
•SCIENCE: We’ll be doing a few experiments, but we are done with the textbook portion.
