No more oral reports on current events until further notice, however they are
still due weekly.
"Photo essay" posters that illustrate the 3 perspectives of ourselves are now
complete.
We our into the middle of our novel, The View From Saturday, and are learning
the characters (known as "The Souls"). As we get deeper into the book we will
use our knowledge of "perceptions" and how it relates to each of these
characters.
Students finished their "I AM" poem using their self discovery questionnaire
and they are FABULOUS! We briefly began our final performance tasks.They will
work on those exclusively in class after the Thanksgiving break. I hope for
the due date to be Wednesday, Dec. 9 on that performance task.
Students have turned in their theme songs-and will need to bring in their
song to play on Wednesday, Dec. 2. I only had two students (Amanda and
Suchir) that asked me to download their song so I expect the rest have it
already. Have a safe and relaxing Thanksgiving with your families!
